I suffered from uncomfortable dry skin from childhood, along with several other discomforts. I have learned over the years that my various ailments are helped immensely by moving more and more toward a natural lifestyle; cutting out sugar from my diet, eating more fresh veggies, etc.
I originally started making homemade soaps because of my DIY nature, but quickly saw improvement in my dry skin condition and fell in love with them. I started this shop to earn a little money to fund my hobby, but decided a few years later to more toward turning it into a real business.
I absolutely love working with high quality all natural ingredients such as virgin oils, pure essential oils, and herbs. I love combining the essential oils to invent new scents, and discovering new skin nurturing ingredients to add to my soap recipes.
When selecting ingredients, i look for what is most gentle, pure and natural and for materials which have been said to aid various skin problems.
I make all of my own recipes and products here in my NC home. I do hope to expand in the future, but for now, my dining room has to share space with my business so that i can use the table for soap making. My office and finished products take up a corner of the living room. :)
I want to know what you think about my products. What ideas do you have for ways that i could improve them. Is there something you would like to see that isn't available here? I am not interested in cutting corners to keep down costs, or even product price. I am interested in a finished product that people really love.
